The villa’s façade is adorned with recycled local stone, meticulously installed by skilled craftsmen using traditional techniques. This juxtaposition of rustic stone and modern elements, such as the gabled zinc roof and aluminum frames, creates a harmonious blend of old and new.
Inspired Design
Drawing inspiration from historic Greek architecture prevalent in the region, the design of the Ovacik House pays homage to its cultural heritage while embracing contemporary aesthetics. A Tribute to Family
Designed by architect Burak Pekoglu in memory of his father, Captain Pilot Metin Pekoglu, the Ovacik Villa is a testament to love, loss, and resilience. Completed in 2022, the villa stands as a tribute to Captain Pilot Metin Pekoglu’s legacy, where the Pekoglu family continues to create new memories amidst the olive groves that surround their home.
Sustaining Tradition
Every fall, the Pekoglu family harvests olives from fifty olive trees, continuing a tradition that has been passed down through generations.
