It gained fame as a favored setting for spy films due to its intriguing passageways and subdued lighting. However, recent years have seen a collaborative effort between KROKI and ARCHIKON to restore and illuminate this architectural gem, returning it to its former grandeur.
Restoration Process
The restoration project prioritized preserving the historical features of the central passageway, allowing public access to its intricate design elements reminiscent of Neo-Gothic, Art Nouveau, and Moorish styles.
