Introducing Breadway Bakery
Situated in the heart of Odessa, Ukraine, Breadway Bakery is more than just a bakery; it’s a bustling café offering delightful breakfasts and lunches. It also doubles as a convenient spot for grabbing freshly baked goods on the go.
Architects’ Vision
Lera Brumina and Artem Trigubchak, the architects behind this project, aimed to craft a space that would leave a lasting impression. They opted for a vibrant palette of contrasting colors and textures to create an inviting and memorable ambiance.
Collaborative Effort
Lera focused on conceptualizing the interior and its technical aspects, while Artem, previously associated with S&T Architects studio and now an independent designer, spearheaded the realization of the interior design elements.
Functional Division
The bakery’s space is intelligently divided into three distinct zones based on their functions. There’s a deep-blue take-away area for quick bites, a central waiting zone enclosed in a pink box for a unique touch, and a light-grey zone perfect for leisurely indulging in a croissant paired with a steaming cup of cappuccino.
Architectural Highlights
Spanning 85 square meters, Breadway Bakery boasts lofty ceilings and expansive windows that flood the interior with natural light. Glossy tiles from Ceramica Bardelli were strategically used to enhance the luminosity, while custom-made chandeliers add a touch of grandeur, emphasizing the vertical space.
Custom Design Elements
Every detail at Breadway Bakery is meticulously curated, including the built-in furniture, tables, and sofas, all tailor-made for this specific project. These bespoke elements not only enhance functionality but also contribute to the overall aesthetic appeal of the space.
Breadway Bakery stands as a testament to thoughtful design, functional elegance, and a harmonious blend of colors and textures, offering patrons a delightful culinary experience in the heart of Odessa.
