Since its inception in 2003, Lonely has been synonymous with passion and creativity. Offering a range of lingerie, womenswear, swimwear, and lifestyle products, each item is meticulously crafted to inspire exploration and delight. Lonely products serve as artistic expressions, inviting customers to embrace themselves as muses.

A Calm Sanctuary

With established retail touchpoints in Auckland and Wellington, New Zealand, Lonely Melrose marks the brand’s first international flagship, situated on Melrose Avenue in West Hollywood. Designed to embody a sense of tranquility, Lonely boutiques serve as sanctuaries for customers to unwind and embrace self-love. The Melrose store offers a serene environment where collections can be intimately explored with the assistance of knowledgeable brand hosts.

Fusion of Hard and Soft

Knight Associates and Lara Hoad Architecture & Design embarked on an extensive design journey in collaboration with the City of West Hollywood to transform the former gallery space into a modern showroom. The design concept revolves around a harmonious interplay of hard and soft surfaces, symbolizing confidence and intimacy. Muted yet tactile materials such as Douglas Fir, aged brass, pitted plaster, and stained Elm evoke raw sophistication and simplicity, setting a romantic yet contemporary tone.

Customer-Centric Design

At the core of the interior design is a commitment to customer service and experience. The space features large operable joinery that adapts to different needs, offering an open-plan showroom experience or discreet private consultations. Storage solutions are seamlessly integrated into the main retail area, ensuring a clutter-free environment. The newly constructed façade joinery, adorned with cathedral glass, filters natural light while maintaining an air of discretion for customers.
